Wax Pucks are handy little discs made from 100$ beeswax. Use these little guys to help you distress Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint by rubbing them everywhere you DON’T want paint to adhere like edges and high points. When it comes to sand, the paint will come off easily!
You can also create beautiful layers of Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint with Wax Pucks. Apply one coat of milk paint and allow it to dry. Rub the Wax Puck over the edges, corners and “high points” of the piece. Anywhere the wax is applied will resist the paint, so make sure it is applied randomly and in places where paint would naturally wear over time. Apply a second coat of milk paint and allow it to dry completely. Add as many layers as you desire, making sure to rub the Wax Puck in between. Distress your surface with a medium grit sandpaper (120 or 150) revealing the coats underneath.
Wax Pucks also lubricate the runners on sticky and stubborn drawers too! Rub along the bottom to provide lubrication and your drawers will close like they’re brand new!
Ever struggle with drawers that don't close easily or stick? Show them who's boss with WAX! 👊🏼
