General Finishes “Espresso” Water Based Wood Stain is the water-based equivalent of oil-based Java Gel Stain. This super dark and rich wood stain is a winner across the board. It’s the darkest brown in the water-based line and is a perfect choice if you’re unsure of what stain color to use.
